The Torbay Volunteer Fire Department operates out of two stations, the main one located at 1288 Torbay Road and our new Satellite Station located on the main road in Flatrock. The Torbay Station boasts a two bay apparatus floor with room for four of our vehicles and firefighter turnout gear. The station also features a communications room, SCBA recharge system with compressor, 4 offices for our executive and officers, a full kitchen and meeting/training room as well as a fitness room.  The Flatrock Station also has a 2-bay garage, one side for the pumper and the other holds the Town of Flatrock’s dump truck.  It has lockers with firefighter’s turnout gear, as well as a room upstairs that serves as an office/kitchen.  To arrange for a tour of our station please contact any member of the department or drop by. We'd love to see you!

Torbay location

Our home!  Being located centrally on the main road through town makes it easy for our members to get here fast, thus allowing for quick response times to all parts of our service district.  We share the building with the town offices and museum.

Flatrock location

In October 2007, we officially opened the Flatrock Satellite Station which is home to our 2007 pumper and the Town’s snow clearing equipment
